Sooooo… read a few old threads from 3 or so years ago on here about mapping an S7. Has anyone managed to do this yet or am I going to have to give Serato a whirl?

Cheers community 😄

A month has passed since this was posted and I thought I'd chime in, as I was one of the contributors of the original post.

I find it so odd that nobody has come up with a map for this. I currently use my S7 with Traktor but I'm truly using that mixer at maybe 50% capability.

The map I have lets me use the cue points, and I've map buttons on the mixer to use sync. However that's kinda it, with my style of djin' i'm kinda okay with this. I have no problem sharing this map with you if needed.

At this stage I'm currently hopeful that Native will release a Z2 MK2 but I'm also okay with using the S7 with Serato even thought I still to this day think that TRAKTOR is SUPERIOR to Serato but the Hardware is where Serato makes up for it's lackluster software.

There's an issue, I think, with the S7 LED mapping. Otherwise, I would have bought one and mapped it myself years ago.

I see that Djay Pro and VDJ have mappings available, which indicated the LED feedback might be fixed?

Is that a firmware update then, Stewe?

I'm not sure - never owned one. I'd check the update date and then the also a date of the mapping releases by Djay and VDJ.
