External hard drive not found

I have some of my lybraries of komplete in my external usb, and they work really fine,but when i turn off my laptop, sometimes the usb cannot be found so it happens the same on the plugins when i open it again..

someone helping me?

Make sure to reboot the computer before use rather than just waking it from sleep (I imagine that that is your problem).

Also provided that you are using Mac as suggested by your profile (since you do not provide any info about that here) then you could try setting the Energy Saver Settings as suggested here

And on macOS try setting OS to : open System Settings > Battery and set Low Power Mode to Never
