So I have Maschine mkii connected to my desk top, a Mac mini, and all my hardware synths are connected to it. I recently came into a Maschine+ controller. Ive already figured out how to sync the two instances of Maschine together via Ableton Link. However they won't start/stop via their opposite transport buttons. For instance, if I push start on the Maschine+, the Maschine Software and controller won't start from the Maschine+ button press. Is that a limitation?
Also, does anyone know if it's possible for me to control the hardware synths that are connected to the desktop computer from the Maschine+ that is really only connected to the session via Ableton Link? For instance, can I create a midi instrument channel that takes Maschine+ midi input and outputs it to the Maschine software on the computer that the hardware synths are connected to?
