Hi All…

Please excuse my ignorance but I have always used Plugins and Audio… However my partner bought me the Behringer JT Mini for xmas as she heard me talking about it. I have the A61 which doesn't have any Midi ports and I have. acouple of UAD X series interfaces which have no Midi…

Could you help me with a solution please? I use Logic on a mac… Total novice with external gear here so go easy… Can I use the A61? Is there an interfacing option to control external hardware via the A61?

    Well, to use an external synth that has MIDI you need a MIDI output from your PC or keyboard somewhere. Since the A61 has no MIDI port it cannot work directly to your external synth, you will need a midi interface which usually is available via a decent audio interface, but if I read correctly you have an interface which also has no MIDI. So you basically now have to look either at a dedicated midi interface for your PC or an audio interface which includes MIDI. You could also look instead at updating your A series with an S series keyboard that does include MIDI.
