How to send Maschine 3.0 projects to Maschine Plus Standalone?

At the moment I can't transfer Maschine 3.0 desktop projects to my Maschine Plus Standalone for performance or working on a song while I'm not in the studio. That's really annoying because going back and forth between desktop and mobile is an important part of my workflow and one of the reasons using Maschine!

Did anyone succeed in a kind of workaround for this?

And if someone at NI is reading this, any news on M3 for Plus ar the horizon yet? Maybe a broad timerange forecast at least?

The only “workaround” (although it is not one) is to export audio files to import to M+ (for eventual performances, not for “working” on the project)

Or using Maschine 2 also on the computer.

Having installed Maschine 3, the walkable road is only from M+ to desktop, not the opposite way.

You can also just hope NI has suddenly changed and will surprise us tomorrow with Maschine 3 on M+. Which would be too late anyway…but at least we will be able to use our expensive tool as advertised.

At least for 1 or 2 months, when they will publish a new desktop version that will break things again…

Yeah, this is not possible yet. No timeline to share yet. There's a message from the PM here:

I am waiting for that too… Wasn't it promised “the end of the year” (2024)?

    Probably end of 2025 now… ;)

It was "coming soon" in November…

I'm mainly working with MIDI only and besides local Maschine Plus track's also playing external synths using midi tracks. My live setup is a Cobalt8, Polyend Synth, Roland W30, Maschine Plus and Maschine Jam.

So…as said…your only option is using Maschine 2 on desktop if you don’t want to transform your desktop tracks into audio

I'm also waiting for this update. I have not updated Maschine on my desktop to 3 yet because it's such a crucial part of my workflow to go between the two.

@Chris_NI, I appreciate you taking the time to address this, but I have to express my frustration as a Maschine+ owner. My device is still experiencing crashes and persistent bugs, and after four years, I would have expected more stability from NI, especially since you primarily operate as a software company. Why has it taken so long to address these core issues?

I understand that development takes time, but Maschine+ was marketed as a standalone solution, and the fact that we’re still waiting for essential fixes years later is concerning. Can you clarify what exactly the upcoming OS update is fixing, and whether Maschine+ will receive long-term support once Maschine 3 is released?

Thanks for engaging with the community—I just hope we see real progress soon.

Hey @baridw2 I just posted a link to the thread here, it might be better to engage in that thread than here.
