Realistic workflow when using more than one "PC"

Hey,

long time user, first time poster.

Been using T2 forever, now switched to T4 and it is a very nice experience overall.
However, since STEMS are a thing finally, transferring playlists "willy nilly" like in the T2 days doesnt work anymore.

I use one pc to set up, grid, etc. my songs, but i do play on a differnt laptop - until the upgrade, that was a quick and dirty "export playlists with songs" drag and drop the pls file into the other machines traktor window and sorted.

How do you move playlists easily between devices so you do not have to a) do a song a dance about finding and moving stems for every playlist manually, or recreating every stem on the other machine as well ?
There has to be a smarter way … right … i must be missing something.

PS: Yes, of course I know how to export the whole collection every time, but if you have anything other than a minute collection, this gets very tedious, very very quickly.

Thanks for your input.

i’d move the entire collection to an external hard drive (music files, stems, remix sets and $collection.tsi), then you point the traktor library there in both computers. Just make sure the path is right for every folder. That way you can work with the hard drive until you finish the transition. When you got it done, move everything again to the internal hard drive of the new computer.
