Stupid mouse pointer Glitch maschine 2 and 3

I’m on a Mac Mini M1

This might happen on other software products not just maschine 2 &3 or so if you have a pointer set to a larger size than default the icons for stretching or moving midi notes don’t appear properly and make it impossible to work with midi. In other words the larger size pointer causees the pointer to not grab the midi notes for movement or stretching.

solved by setting the icon to the smallest possible size for efficiency. Not a huge problem for me since I can remember to drop the pointer in the right hand corner all the time to find it when I step away or am not working with the mouse. I figure I’d mention this for people with eye site issues who may need the large pointer. Don’t be inconsiderate…

you probably realise you can set up a zoom on your m1 Mac mini… to allow you to zoom in on your cursor

the best way to set this up… is in the settings and in the search bar… type zoom shortcut

turnoff the use keyboard shortcuts to zoom

turnoff trackpad gesture to zoom if you dont use a trackpad

but turnon Use scroll gesture with modifier keys to zoom

then set a modifier key like the "control" key or option or whatever they call it

set zoom style to full screen

click on the "advanced" box

you will need to set some of these to your liking….

i have "continuously with pointer" ticked

maximum & minimum zoom both set to 40

"so focus item is centred" = ticked

then you can hold down your modifier key & use the scroll wheel to quickly zoom in & out
