Please can we have an updated version of Noire?

I am a big fan of NI's pianos and my favorite is still Noire. I think the quality of capture for this instrument is excellent and I love it's tone, playability and feature set. I actually chose this over the VSL CFX and their other pianos.

I currently have Claire and I personally find some aspects of it's sound a little more artificial than Noire. For example, when playing the 'Basic Claire' preset, the bottom couple of octaves sound like they have the sub feature turned on? I also find the release samples sound a little artificial?

However, there are some nice new features in Claire/Kontakt 8 that are really good and useful such as :-

'Richness' parameter, editable touch response curve, selectable time/samples adjustable release samples and an extra EQ band with individually selectable freqency band. Also, Claire has a soft pedal feature and there isn't any mention of this being sampled. If this has been modelled, I would love a modelled Una Corda pedal for Noire. Claire has tons more presets for the 'Particles' engine which would be great to have in Noire. I also love the extra mic perspectives in Claire and badly wish NI/Galaxy Instruments captured a roomier mic perspective that could be blended with the dryer sound. However, I think I could achieve something similar using either the Spitfire Air Studios, Samplecity Berlin Studios or Inspirata reverbs.

Please could we have an updated version of Noire incorporating these additional features as this would take an already great piano library to another level.

    The Claire has a sub mic which Noire does not have. It can be turned off.

    Would be nice to see features integrated between the piano products if possible.

    Agree on updating Noire with a proper mid cycle (preferably Kontakt 8) release - it should reach parity with Claire. Currently the GUI looks old and pixelated. NI should plan for more mid cycle releases of their products. It would make this entire Piano series more attractive too.

    On my wishlist is a mid cycle release for Una Corda too with updated GUI in a Kontakt 8 version so all the latest Pianos reach life cycle parity.

    From what I have heard there are currently no plans to update Noire, hopefully this changes if more customers start asking for this.

    Side note: Claire needs to fix the midi CC support. A lot of parameters are not accessible to attach Midi CC controls. Hope this is fixed. Same MIDI CC updates may be needed for Claire Avant (haven't tested that one).
