Maschine Mk3 - emergency stop all sounds?

I'm very new to the Maschine Mk3. In the "Halcyon Sky" Group there's a kit called "Hover Kit". If I load this and demo it there's some keys with a lot of delay or reverb on Pads 15 and 16.

When I press Shift+Mute most of the pads stop but the keys on Pads 15 and 16 continue on for many seconds. How do I stop them immediately?

You don't have to it that way, you can hit "Mute" + "Group" and silence the whole group, or make a pattern with the mutes already programmed into the pattern.

If you want to mute just the two, hold "Mute" and press the two pads at the same time.

You can also hold "Select" and press the eighth button above the second screen that says "Multi" under it. While still holding "Select", hit all the pads you want to make changes on simultaneously. You'll see each pad selected get a border added in the software, and brighten up on the hardware. Now, any changes you make to one pad will also happen on the rest. Such as automation, volume, panning, pitch, etc.

Also, if you're doing it the pattern method, and want the mutes at the end… just duplicate the pattern to another pad, then with the "Pattern" button engaged or pinned, use the fourth knob to change the length of Bars to add the mute at the end, "Shift" + Knob 4 will allow you to do finer values. Let's say you don't want 4 Bars, but 3. Holding "Shift" + Knob 4 will allow you to fine adjust to 3.

If you are just trying to shorten the sample. Hit the "Sampling" menu button, then click "Edit" in the Sample Menu (Button 2) and use the Play Range markers (Knobs 1 & 2) to choose the specific part of the sample you want to play. You can even go to the second page in the "Edit Menu", which is the Selection Range, and truncate just the part you want, and the 3rd page allows you to loop it. On any of those pages, the top Buttons 5 & 6, allow you to do multiple editing functions using the knobs to specify the part of the range you want to change. Such as, adding a Fade In or Out to remove clipping.

You can assign choke groups in Pad Mode, or from the Group/Sound pages control them via envelopes. That can be done on page 2 by changing type to AHD or ADSR, and then choosing the lengths you want, that can also be done in "Multi".
