Renaming items in Maschine Studio w/Maschine 3.0 software.

Is there a way to name items (tracks/patterns) or save projects in Maschine Studio that doesn't require usage of the software?

Supposing he means renaming things using only the hardware and not the computer (mouse and keyboard): no, no way to rename things using your Studio.

Only Maschine+ (being standalone) has this option.

For saving projects, if I recall correctly, Shift + File button should do the trick, but the first time you do it the prompt for naming the project will appear on the computer screen anyway. Subsequent savings should just save with the name the project already has.

But…test what I’m saying… I sold my Studio times ago and so I’m trying to recall

Yeah that's what I was thinking - there's definitely no way to enter names in Maschine Studio.

Thank you both for helping out. Yes, I'm looking for a totally hands free effort. Not sure why you can't do it in Studio… when you hit the shift button on the Maschine Studio when in Scene mode should be able to bring up that menu… Studio has a jog wheel to select letters… makes no sense to me why I can't do this?

I had the same issue today. You can't rename anything (Scenes, Patterns, Sounds etc.. ) on any Maschine controller when attached to Maschine (3.0) on a computer. The Plus only can do this when in standalone mode, but not when it's in controller mode.

Glad to see it's not only me, Wilmar. Not quite sure why they disabled this feature outside of standalone mode. Would be nice to see it added. I love working without a screen.
