Mapping Individual Presets of 1 Instrument to Controller
I want to map Individual presets that are within a Kontakt instrument to different buttons on my keyboard. If I press a button I want it to trigger '1' sound and when press then next it triggers the '2' sound of the same instrument.
I find it quite similar to using the scenes in a Montage m8, here the difference being that I want to route each scene to each button on my keyboard. Or even routing it to a midi clip and then triggering it is also fine.

Not quite sure what you mean by Preset, or what messages your buttons can send, but there are loads of ways of doing it.
Load each of your "presets" into a separate instance of Kontakt. Copy all the groups into a single instance and use one of the Group Start Options for each group or collection of groups, or give them separate channels.
If you can't edit your instrument, load your presets into a multi, and give each one a separate channel.

Hi, thank you so much for the prompt reply. By presets I mean that there are different sounds (preset voices) for the same .nki instrument . For example, taking the strings category, we have Film Strings and Soft strings within the same .nki instrument. I want to trigger film strings with 1 button on my midi controller and Soft strings with the second. Same with Pianos, Brass, EPs, and Synths. That's what I was going for.
I understand we could load up multiple instances of the same instrument with different 'tones' as I've mentioned above, but wont it take up a HUGE load of memory and disk utilization?

No. Samples etc will be loaded only once.
