Maschine not connecting to software

Hi. I have a masschine mk3 running 1.4.5 firmware driver. It stopped connecting to my sofware. My mac detects that it is connected. I know this because my audio midi setup is connected. Also, I used the "maschine mk3 updater" and it detects that the controller is connected and updated. I suspect this could be related to me having windows downloaded. I partitioned about 100gb of my drive for windows. Could this be the issue? I'm using maschine on mac os ventura 13.7.1
