Brand New KONTROL S88'N Mk3 with a DEAD KEY

I have a brand new Mk3 keyboard that has a dead key…. no matter what vst I load in any DAW or standalone it plays nothing.

Has anyone else experienced this? I purchased this from NI. Any suggestions on troubleshooting or do I have to return this thing before Christmas?

    I've never heard of that as a software fault, so I'd suggest doing a return and get a replacement unit. That way you'll get a fully working keyboard and won't be worrying about anything else going wrong with it.

    Did you buy from a dealer or direct from NI?

    Put in a support request for a replacement, you can do that here - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/sections/360000091538 once you've logged into your account. It's a busy time at the minute what with Christmas and the sales going on so it might take a little while for them to get back to you.
