Keylock sound quality

Im now streaming flac files on Traktor pro 4 but the artifacts and the chopping up of the transients are still noticeably bad as the mp3's and AAC's so much that i have keylock turned off all the time. I mostly play Techno but sometimes i play open format music and the the keylock is hit and miss and can not be trusted, I have a power full computer so its nothing to do with the processing power of the computer and the load indicator in TP4 is hardly lit plus the activation of keylock in TP4 makes a popping noise. Am i alone here?

    No. I don't use keylock at all, unless i wish to play (part of) a track in a different key to complement another track. Also reduces load if not in use.

    To prevent artifacts when activating, i enable and disable keylock on all decks right after Traktor start. Same with limiter, channel filter/mixerfx, and all 16 FX assignments. If i enable any of those again later, artifacts don't happen as often.
