Audio Interface does not work with turntable

Hello! I have some trouble connecting my turntable to my active speakers. Actually direct connection from turntable to speakers works well but I need volume control because its too loud directly.

I have "Native Instruments Komplete Audio 2" audio interface for some years. It works well when I use it for listening music from my computer to active speakers. But now with turntable (it has built in phono) I have connected RCA through mono jack connectors to this audio interface in1 and in2. Gain is turned on and "input/host" has turned to "input". Line/inst is on "line". Others side two jacks goes to XLR on active speakers. There are one or two "Led" light levels movement on audio interface. Does anyone knows where is the problem why theres no sound in speakers? Thank you and greetings from Estonia.

Access your computer's sound settings and select the "Komplete Audio 2" as the default playback device

Ensure the volume levels are turned up on both the Komplete Audio 2 and your system.

I'm pretty sure the input/host knob controls the output to the headphone jack, not the speakers. Can you try a set of headphones to check? To get the input to play to the speaker outputs you can use something like Guitar Rig with no effects loaded and the gate turned off which will send the input straight to the output.
