Traktor S8 Touch Strips Not Responding

Everything else is working just fine, but no touch strip inputs are registered. It’s updated to the latest firmware, I’ve reset all settings, removed and readded it from my hardware, and played with touch sensitivity in settings and there’s no midi connection. Am I missing something or could the strips be dead? I also have an S5 and don’t have any issues with that on TP4 on MacOS Sequoia. Any help would be appreciated!

weird, have you got any other software you can test it on, like logic or another daw and see if it sends midi messages? try another usb port (shouldn't make sense but I've had crazier things happen)

Open controller editor and see what happens in there too

I just opened mine the S8 is in the list so load that up and have a look see if anything responds or doesn't respond in there

I didn’t realize try other ports, but I’ll see if Logic sees it and I forgot about Controller editor so I’ll try that too. Thanks!

also if you are connecting it through a hub, make sure its powered and if no joy, try connect directly to the computer. I realised that in my setup I couldn't connect multiple sound cards to the same port, so my microphone and my sound card are on different hubs, when on the same hub, they take too much energy and things get weird
