Why Reaktor 5 standalone doesn't work as the manual suggest
I have reaktor 5 and i did an example from the reaktor 5 core reference manual using the standalone app. The example was from chapter 5, the one displaying a saw waveform in a simple scope. The saw wave does not display in the scope. I opened up the vst version of reaktor 5 in a Daw and the saw wave was visible in the scope. I tried debugging and saw that the saw oscillator wire had no output value in the standalone reaktor 5 app. How can I make the saw wave visible in the scope in the standalone app? I opened the same ensemble in the vst and it worked so I know I correctly followed the reaktor 5 core reference manual example.
Thanks

The manual is just the starting point.
The possibilities about how Reaktor can work or what Reaktor can do, are infinite.

You are probably trying to feed a polyphonic signal into a port that want a monophonic signal.
Does the wire turn red when you connect it?
