Can Vienna Ensemble pro be used with Kontakt to set up articulations in one instance.

Hello everyone. I am using Vienna pro ensemble to build an orchestral template. I am trying to set up different articulations within a single instance of symphony ensemble. Example I have one instance of 1st violins loaded but would like easy articulation access without the use of key switches. In Vienna ensemble pro I can't seem to access the articulation menu. Any work arounds or answers to this. Also know that I'm fairly new to the Vienna ensemble software and I am using Logic Pro for a DAW

Also just to clarify, I am watching training videos where the east west hollywood library is used to essentially assign different articulations to different midi channels. Not sure how to do this in Kontakt 8
