Vintage Organ
Hello from Salzburg! How can I reach following goal: With the sustain pedal of my Yamaha P-525 I want to change the rotary speed. At the moment I must always press or leave the pedal. I want a switch that controls the rotary fast slow. Best regards! Fritz

Hello,
the sustain pedal (CC64) is per default mapped to control the speed of the rotor. You can change this mapping on the Settings page (see screenshot below).
Do you want to inverse the action of the pedal, i.e. do you want the rotor to be set to "slow" when pressing the pedal? If so, you need to invert the value range that is sent from the sustain pedal. Some pedals actually have an invert switch, if not you could do this in Kontakt by loading the "Remap CCs" multi script (the script is also visible in the screenshot below).
Hope this helps,

Normally that's mapped to the mod wheel so any value above halfway engages the faster speed. But since you don't have a mod wheel you'd need to invest in a separate MIDI panel to map a fader or knob. You could also just use an expression pedal to do the same thing.
