File locations

Hi all. I recently purchased Komplete 15 ultimate and an S61 mk3 bundle. With the huge 800gb space needed for the files I also purchased an external hard drive to accommodate the instrument files. My question is, should I chose to download all files including the applications to run the software on the external drive or am I better installing the music software like Kontact and other plug ins locally to my Mac. I want it to run smoothly but don’t want my Mac’s Harddrive filling up with all of the software provided. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    I'd recommend installing all the applications to the internal drive and all content to the external drive. That's what I do here on my MacBook as I only have 512G of internal SSD.
