Kontakt is Unusable Because of CPU Issues
I am posting to seek some help with kontakt. I have a Macbook Pro with an Apple M2 chip and 8gb of RAM. I am running Mac OS Sequoia 15.0.1. Kontakt is practically unusable after I have more than 2 instances of it and even just one uses a very large amount of CPU. This wasn't always the case. It gets to the point where projects are unusable and the CPU is destroyed when opening it. Otherwise the projects are corrupted and cant be opened again. I have narrowed this down to kontakt by testing each of the plugins. This may be an issue with my computer's hardware if not kontakt. I have reset my entire computer and installed all my plugins again including kontakt and still the problem persists.

A number of variables to consider. Will start with this:
What size is your drive, and how much free space - plus and if you use an external, how much free space on that/those and are they properly formatted (APFS)?
My point of view, 8GB Ram is just not enough these days especially if you're using NI plugs that are resource hungry, such as some presets on Pharlight and a good number of others like so. For the sake of comparison, I have a 2019 iMac 40gb RAm, run externals and make sure each has about 25% free. I can get plenty of Kontakt instances. There's a couple of presets on Pharlight that will peak a single core if I use 2 or 3 keys, but for the most part I'm OK and Im using K14 UCE.
