Sustain pedal suddenly stops working in Logic
I use an old Alesis switch for my sustain pedal with my S88 going into Logic and it works fine. Today I made two tracks using it and then while recording the third, although the midi piano plugin recorded fine in the Logic the sustain pedal did not. I'm wondering if this is some kind of memory problem with Logic. The pedal works fine when I open a different project. Anybody ever had this issue? I figure it's probably a Logic problem but I thought I'd ask.

Hey David, if the issue only appears in Logic it could be that a MIDI setting comes in the way. If it's only on one project look for automation that might have been recorded (or not recorded). If it's happening in several projects then it could be an unwanted MIDI assignment in Logic. The solution then would be to reset Logic to default.
