Time machine 2 takes > 30 seconds to load
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N3lHAdr-DM
Here's a video of me demonstrating the issue. This only occurs on some samples, and I know it's not completely tied to the size/length of the audio file. You can see in the video that the first file (80mb/4m53s) loads fine, whereas the problem file (59mb/3m36s) takes more than 30 seconds. This problem only exists for TM2, and only when loading the sample in TM2 for the first time -- if you go to sampler and then back to TM2, it won't take a long time again. Is this a bug or is TM2 actually expected to take that long for some samples? Thanks.

TM2 does detection of pitch markers when you change the sampler mode to it. It might not at all be related to the length of the sample (although yes, the longer the sample is, chances are it's gonna take a bit longer to load), but if there's a lot of pitch movement in the sample it will take longer to detect pitch markers for sure.
