Audio6 for scratch duo 2 not recognized by MBP

I used to use Traktor scratch duo 2 with this audio 6 box and a windows machine. I haven't used it in years.

I now have a 2019 MBP running Sonoma 14.4.1

More tech specs of the comp are 2.6 GHz 6 core Intel i7. 16GB memory 2667 MHz DDR4

If someone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it. I've only been able to use this f&$&$ thing 4 months out of the 12 years I've owned due to ****** like this.

Is the Audio 6 really not recognized by macOS? Does it light up when connected? Which cable/USB-C adaptor are you using? If it lights up: Does it show in System Preferences → Sound for audio input and/or output? Is it listed in macOS System Profiler as USB device?

As you wrote you haven't used it for years: Current firmware is installed?

Which Traktor Version do you use? Traktor Duo 2 won't work on modern macOS (10.11 or 10.13 was last supported version) with Sonoma you need at least a late version of Traktor Pro 3. If it is the Traktor installation which fails: You can try it with Traktor Pro 4 demo first. If it works with it you can still buy the full licence.

I am using it on Sonoma 14.4.1

I also have Traktor Pro 3, in addition to Traktor Scartch duo 2, which is discontinued. Just stating so you know where I came from, and where I'm trying to go. The light for usb just blinks and it's as if my computer doesn't recognize it at all. That specific box came up as an option when choosing a device in the control manager on settings, so I thought it was recognizing the device, but I don't think it is, because mo other audio programs are showing it as a soundboard option either.

That sounds weird. If you can select it in system preferences you should be able to select it in any other software with an option to choose a specific audio device. Have you already tried to use a different USB cable/adaptor?

Hey all, I was able to get this going. The problem was a missing driver update for the A6. I thought I had the right one, but I didn't.

I ultimately want to run 4 decks, 2 timecode vinyls, and two either remix decks or two more track decks using my s2 mk3 for rhe other 2 decks. So that's step number 8... I have some ideas how that wojld work, I'll post a new thread if I have issues.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, I'm super stoked, it's been years...
