Maschine Central Download

in Native Access

The website says the Maschine 3.0 upgrade comes with Maschine Central included, but the only thing showing up in Native Access is the Maschine 3 app. Is this a common issue or did I misread what is included in the upgrade? Thanks.

    I bought the bundle and Maschine Central download keeps failing. Not sure why.

    They will not give a refund if you make a mistake like me. Even though in the YouTube video they posted below at 5:22 they stated, "When you upgrade to 3.0, you also get the Maschine Central expansion, which is jam-packed with tons of fresh new sounds from multiple genres."

    That was clearly a mistake in the video. And while it was clearly there - that should not be a reason for assumptions especially when you hit the NI Shop - there are only three very clear choices:

    1. The software alone
    2. The bundle (software,expansion AND the extra plugins)
    3. The expansion alone.

    Given these choices - AND price points - cannot see how anyone would assume buying the super cheap upgrade/update would also get them this very large new library that has a list price that is more than the software itself.

    The video is from their official account and is an ad for a product. It is false advertisement.

    If I had noticed the different price points I would have reconsidered the purchase. I may still have upgraded or bought the expansion who knows but I only saw the upgrade price point and thought the expansion was included based on the video ad. It's deceptive and caused me to make a purchase based on that false info.

    Pretty sure it was not specifically intended to deceive.

    That said - if you take every piece of media you see - literally - without any further investigation or question - you get what you get I suppose.

    But that does not supplant the fact that the web shop is about as clear as it could possibly be about what you get and what it costs.

    You could always take the high road here and just enjoy your purchase and work toward the expansion later.

    I don't know who you are but your responses just seem to be calling me stupid for not catching the error before purchasing and should just shut up. If you were to follow your logic there's no reason to have consumer protection law at all. The company needs to correct their mistake, that's the high road VP, not calling the customer dumb.

    I don’t know who you are either but you did ask this question in your first post:

    I answered you by telling you it appears you did misread what was (and was not) included but purchased the upgrade anyway.

    If you found this answer to be offensive - that was not the intent.

    All I can suggest is to contact NI sales and see if you can get your money back.
