Maschine 3 stems issue

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if i'm just not doing something right. I've got Maschine 3.0, I load up a sample in the sampler and hit the "stems" button, the software acts as though it is processing the sample into stems and creates a new group with 4 samplers, but there's no samples loaded:

Has anyone else run into this?

@Facedogg Mono files are not supported yet. It should be implemented in the future. It's not a high priority though, since most files that contain multiple instruments are stereo.

Alright, if I load up a loop from the library the stem function seems to work just fine, but if I try it with any other sample on my drive or one I just recorded in, it doesn't seem to work.

Ok, so I've tried it again on a sample I just recorded and the stem separation has worked. The difference is this time I recorded the sample in stereo whereas previously I was trying it with mono samples. Seems rather strange that maschine would have an issue splitting stems on a mono sample.

Thanks for the reply, this should really be noted somewhere in the marketing materials. 99% of the time I'm working with samples I don't load in a preexisting file, I record it into the maschine, and usually I'm only taking the left or right channel from the original source.

Same here, cannot use stem separation without mono functionality. In FL Studio and Serato Sample it works very well with mono files. Fits better to my workflow!
