Master Macros The Only Option?

I use groups like individual tracks with each group having only one sound/instrument per group - instead of having multiple sounds on a single group. Besides setting up Mastar Macros, is there an easier/better/faster way to control the sound/instrument in group one (for ex. filter, resonance, filter env, etc.) while playing (improvising a melody for example) on another sound/instrument in group two? Or is setting up a bunch of macros in Master the only way to do this? Thanks.

Actually, I did find an easier way! > Add a key step midi keyboard > The default midi when creating a grouyp is channel is 1 - you have to change it to correspond to the group - this ensures that each group has its own separate midi channel > Choose the midi channel on the keyboard to correspond to the group/sound you want to play. . . Done! Now I ca jam on two different sounds at once :)

Group macros only affect the items within the group, so I would think yes? Master macros affect everything under the master, including all groups.

What is the reason you only utilize a single sound per group? You need each sound to have its independent patterns or what?

Yep. Already know that - that's why I was asking if there were other suggestions. Yes to your question. My music uses asynchronous patterns and phase looping.
