I pick one library and get multiple playback from other libraries

Hi,

I selected a library "India" for example and when I play a key I am hearing sounds from another library. I'm only using one track. I checked some other libraries and getting the same thing. (note: using patterns from the library). Happing on India, African and Mideast libraries so far.

Any idea why this is?

Thank you

If by “I am hearing sounds from another library” you mean that you can hear multiple sounds together (instruments, percussions,…), they are not coming from other libraries.

The ones you named are all libraries that contain patterns that can be played with a single key, which means that complete rhythms/melodies will play, not only single sound.

Think it this way: they are mapped so that part of the keyboard will play single instruments sounds, while other octaves are “players” that will play those sounds

I am playing in daw mode. The sounds I am hearing when playing libraries from India, Africa and Middle eastern are not part of the rhythm patterns.

Is that happening with only one instrument loaded in a project? If it happens in a project with multiple instances of Kontakt, do all the Kontakt instruments have the same MIDI channel, the same as your keyboard? Maybe this article will point you in the right direction: Configuring your MIDI Keyboard / Controller in Kontakt

@Bmac007 If you still want help, please give more details of the project and what you're doing exactly, maybe make a video and post a link to it here.
