MacOS compatibility turn around

Oct is usually when Apple releases a new maxOS. My biggest disappointment is it takes Native Instruments 9 months for all their software and hardware to be compatible with the new macOS. By that time, the next macOS was revealed in June.

Sonoma was released in Oct 2023 and NI was not fully compatible until July 2024. 3 months thereafter, Apple released Seqouia. Do we have to all wait another 9 months to use Seqouia?

Last year I was forced to buy a M3Max MaxBook Pro because my previous macBook finally died. In November, it came with Sonoma and I couldn’t use Komplete 14, Maschine, Kontact 7. The only thing compatible with Sonoma from Nov23 to Jul24 was Traktor3, Traktor Control S4, Komplete Audio.

Waiting 9 months for Komplete 14, Kontact 7, A25, S48, Maschine Plus, and more to be compatible with Sonoma was ridiculous. 9 months is a long time. Your users should not have to wait that long.

Now, we are stuck with Sonoma probably until July of 2025 which is unfair and poses possible security risks for users.

You need to do better Native Instruments.

Yeah… I invested in Komplete 15 Collectors Edition… everything is installed, but Kontakt cannot load any instruments or content despite all the paths being set correctly. It really sucks to not be able to use products we paid a lot of money for.

That may be more of a setup issue than related to Sequoia as there are quite a few people including myself who are not having this problem. I need if it was directly related to Sequoia there would be a lot more reports of something so major. I'd contact support and work through it with them.
