Metronome Not Working in Traktor Pro 4 – No Sound

Hey everyone,
I’m having trouble with the metronome in Traktor Pro 4. I've enabled it in the Master Clock section, but I’m not hearing any ticking sound. I’ve tried checking my output routing and adjusting various settings, but still no luck. Has anyone else run into this issue or know how to fix it?

Heyo!
@JohnBKD If you are using Output master, you will not be able to hear it. Only by using Output Monitor.
I believe that might be the issue.

Same issue here on the latest macOS.

I can't here the metronome as well!
I've just moved to Traktor 4 and windows as newer versions of Traktor are not supported on my older Macbook with the xone 4d, I'm relearning the beatgridding techniques here as a lot has changed from the older version and a click track is essential.
I'm sure its just a setting I have incorrect. any help appreciated.

Unfortunately I'm experiencing the same problem as described above. And I see no feedback from NI.
I've just upgraded to Traktor Pro 4 and without the Master Clock Tick (=metronome) it's pretty useless when double-checking the flexible beatgrids. In Traktor Pro 3 I could use the metronome with and without hardware.
I have:
- Output routing > output monitor and output record not activated > Output Master L is on 1: 1 and R is on 2: 2. Mixing Mode > internal
- Audio Setup > audio device (external headphones)
- Input routing > nothing is connected
The headphone button isn't working. I only have sound when the track volume fader is up (whether the Headphone button is on or off). The mix and volume knobs are are not responding.
Could it be that the setting is wrong at my end? I didn't change a thing.

Heyo!
If you're using an external mixer, the metronome might not be routed correctly in Traktor's Mixing Mode settings.Could you double check?

Maybe try connecting your headphones directly to your computer's headphone jack to see if you can hear the metronome. This will help you isolate if the issue is with your audio interface or controller.

Hi Martinix, thank you for your feedback.
I’ve just gone away for a 1 week break with plans to mess around with my S4 and the recent upgrade of traktor pro 4.
I left the controller at home and considered rolling back to traktor pro 3. Do you have other suggestions?
I had waited to update the OS on my MacBook Pro until it was supported by NI, so I did that first, followed by the upgrade to traktor pro 4.So basically I don’t have the S4 with me. Nevertheless, that shouldn’t pose a problem with the metronome. I had already tried having it connected directly in the HP jack.
When using traktor pro 3 I could also SEE as well as hear the signal when it was turned on. So maybe you’re right, it could be the routing.
Could you help me out with the correct routing WITHOUT using the hardware?
thanks again for your help
