The installation ran smoothly via NI Access.
The good thing is that you can now move libraries and find several missing
libraries in a single Relocate action. On my Mac with Ventura 13.5,
these were often lost and I had to do it again because the system or most likely NI Access
sometimes renamed the name of an external hard drive from “Ext 1” to “Ext-1”
without my intervention. In addition, the previews disappeared,
could not be reassigned the same way as libraries
and the 8.5 GB had to be reinstalled every time.
That's a shame, because you don't want to have to do maintenance work again
when you're finally ready to make music. Maybe it was the Mac
and you don't have this problem on a PC.
