No prehear for Maschine software when using the Komplete Kontrol (MK2)

I'm unable to activate the prehear when using the Maschine software with my MK2. It's supposed to be toggled by the same buttons (Shift + Button 8) as with the Komplete Kontrol software, but when pressing the Shift button, Button 8 goes out.

Any suggestions?

Well, then we have to assume it's also a hardware issue.

Hey @Tomas E I just tried out and I can't reproduce the issue, while discussing this with colleagues it turned out that you're already in contact with support about this and another issue that seems to be a hardware default.

Maybe this is also a hardware issue but maybe you can check if there are any unwanted MIDI assignment to that button. You should check in the standalone Komplete Kontrol application with the keyboard connected:

And with the keyboard powered off or disconnected:

    Anything unusual here?

I seem to have the same settings.

Here with the KK MK2 turned off.

By the way. At first I had the blue markings around the first 'Learn' to the left. But I thought I should select the same one as you have selected. Don't know if it matters.

    Thanks, Jeremy!

Well, I've sent it to you two times already so this will be the third time for two more issues. Don't know but it seems like this keyboard should be replaced, with a total of four hardware issues so far…🙁

According to the latest info from the support this is not a hardware issue.

"According to our tests today this work in Maschine 3 with the Kontrol mk2 keyboard."

Therefore I felt compelled to upgrade to Maschine 3 to see if my issue still persists, since ignoring it until the guarantee had expired would have been foolish. It doesn't, so good news it wasn't a hardware issue. However I'm disappointed by the fact that you didn't bother to fix this in version 2. Maschine 3 seems interesting - although I've seen lots of complaints - but it would have made my upgrade choice optional.
