Komplete 14 CE to Komplete 15 Select question

Hey everyone I own Komplete 14 Collectors edition and have additionally bought many of the products offered in K15 CE. I am considering purchasing K15 Select since the only products I’m interested in are Kontakt 8, Guitar rig 7 and the new upright bass.
Will there be any problems or reason I shouldn’t make this (sort of a downgrade) to Komplete 15 Select?

I mean I won’t lose access to any of my current K14 libraries right?

It also seems I would have future upgrade paths from K14 CE and K 15 Select.

To get kontakt 8, Guitar rig 7 and the new upright bass then buy Komplete 15 Standard which contains the products that you want.

And NO , you will not lose access to any of your current K14 libraries as long as you keep that and that which you used as any eventual foundation for the upgrades.

Furthermore you should then also be able to later both update from K14CE to K15CE as well as upgrade from the K15 Standard

This would not be a downgrade from K14CE - it would be considered a "standalone" license purchase.

Komplete upgrades can only go "up" in level.

In the end you will still have your K14CE license and a new K15 Select License.

However - not understanding how buying "Select" (which now has 3 "flavours") - will get you any closer to Kontakt 8 or GR7 or Upright Bass. None of those are in Select.
