On how many Computer can we use Maschine simultan?

I bought two Maschine mikro mk3. One is for my son and one is for myself. I created one account with my name and downloaded all the free software for Machine (Maschine 2, Kontakt Player 8, Komplete Start, etc.) on three devices: my Mac and my son´s Mac and an old MacBook, because my son wants to play finger drum in school orchestra with his Maschine Mikro. because my son cannot pay anything as being a child, I didn`t create an account for him. I only created one account with my name, because I want later the possibility to buy software for him and have no problems with checking out and pay via PayPal. Now, I read, that it is not allowed to play simultaneously on two computers. Is this restricted the software only, so that we can play with two maschines simultaneously because I bought and registered two different Maschine mikro Mk3s, or does my son need an extra account and I have to deinstall all software from his computer and later install new with his account, so that we can play simultaneously? Or is this only relevant for payed and not free software?

The Problem is solved. It worked without deinstallation. I had only to logout in Native Access on my son`s Macs and to login with his ID and then register his Maschine in his ID.

I now read, that the payment method Vorkasse is available. With Vorkasse I think, I have a possibility to pay for my son's software if he needs something not free from NI. But do I have to uninstall all the with NI Access unter my account installed NI Software first or can I just log out from NI Acces and the log ion with an account on his name and buy something with Vorkasse which I can add for him without further uninstall and new install all other NI Software (Maschine 2 App, for example)?

As you purchased two Mikros, then you have two Maschine licenses, so the "one at a time" rule does not apply. They're separate purchases/licenses.

Now the support was very quick and unregistered the Maschine from my son for my. But now I read your answer and I'm not sure what is better: to register it again in my NI ID and don't touch the installed software on all three Macs (because it runs perfectly) and later buy under my ID additional software? Or uninstall all NI from both macs from my son, after that install new Native access on my sons macs with his ID and register his Maschine with his ID and buy later under his ID with Vorkasse Option?

Yep, all that matters is who is logged into Native Access while SW is being used, uninstalling/reinstating changes nothing.

You can buy anything while logged into either your account or sons via the website, in the case of HW where you get a printed serial just put it the 1st time in the appropriate NA account and it will be tied to that account.

Technically, NI only has rules for how many installations, they don't mention anything about how many "At the same time" can be used. There is probably something in place to prevent abuse or account sharing but it's not aggressive, at some point i had 4/5 computers and installations in all but indeed i never used more than 2 at the same time.
