Maschine Mk3 Sampler looper compatible footswitch
Hello, i'm having trouble getting the sampler working with a footswitch. I've connected a dual momentary Footswitch (brand: Sonicake) to my Maschine Mk3 controller. It seems to work fine in standard (sequencer) mode. Left button 'plays' and the right button enables 'record'. When the sampler is selected however, nothing happens when I press the buttons. According to the manual this should work has a standard loop pedel.
Maschine version: 2.18.4
Steps to reproduce:
-Connect the footswitch to the Pedal input on Machine mk3 hardware
-Start a new project (File ⇒ new)
-Press the 'Sampling' button on the controller
-Change the Recording mode to 'Loop'
-Change the Target to 'Sound'
-Pressing the left (or right) footswitch button has no effect.
Either I'm doing something wrong or I have the wrong type of footswitch for this operation. As mentioned, it does seem to work fine for the standard sequencer (non-sampler), so I'm guessing my workflow.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
