Daw controls cause knob values to jump to zero in Cubase

Hello everyone

When I use a third party library (Halion Sonic SE, East West and Moddart Pianoteq 8) in Cubase, pressing the Daw controls cause the assigned knobs to jump to zero.

[Loop] makes the first knob parameter to jump to zero [Metro/Tempo] does the same to the second knob and [Shift+Metro/Tempo] has the same effect to the parametr of the fourth knob.

All third party libraries I own have this behaviour and it doesn't matter which page of parameters i am on.

Kontakt libraries do not produce this issue.

The problemis persistent and no matter how soft I press the buttons it happens, so it does look like a sofware/settings issue.

Any solutions?

Depending on the model of Komplete Kontrol, make sure you do not have the MIDI port Komplete Kontrol DAW included in the Cubase In All MIDI ports in the Cubase Studio Settings dialog.

I think the S series MK3 calls that MIDI port something different (it may have a 2 in the name) , but it also needs to be excluded from the In All MIDI ports.

For my S series MK2, it looks like this:

    This worked, thank you.

It should be included in the setup instructions.
