Phrases Tool

I downloaded Kontact 8 and have been playing with the Phrases tool. I watched an overview video that showed how you can turn off Global and drag an individual phrase into the DAW. When I do that, it's taking pieces of several different phrases from the 7, instead of the one I have highlighted. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm using Ableton Suite, if that helps.

    I did some further troubleshooting on this and figured out; the MIDI phrase is actually fine because it plays fine on a different track using another instance of Kontact. But when the tool is open within the instance you're working with, it is activating playback of the Phrases tool itself, causing random notes to play from other phrases. I wouldn't think this was the intent, so it must be a bug, perhaps with the VST3 plugin?

    Hi @Bret Allen I think I may know what you mean… I had a similar (?) thing happen after I (1) dragged the MIDI as a clip onto a track, when playing back, I was getting, well, the notes triggering phrases, instead of the notes. After toggling off the Phrases (2) tool, it played as expected.

    Not sure that's what your issue is.. but sorta sounded like it.

    @Bret Allen What's your operating system? Would it be possible to make a video of the issue so we can try and reptroduce the issue?
