Workaround for access to instruments that use Kontakt that aren't signed up with NI
There are many sample instruments/libraries that work with Kontakt that don't show up for easy insertion. I understand some companies find NI's charge for this ability to be beyond their budget. One of my guitar plugins fits this scenario.
I have a folder containing all of my Pettinhouse programs and libraries. When choosing sounds they don't show up like my other Kontakt libraries. How can I incorporate them into my file system so that they will show up as choosable options in Kontakt? I have Kontakt 8 going back to 4. I'm running Mac OS 14.6.1 and Digital Performer 11.6.2.

I imagine you mean Kontakt libraries that don't have a serial number, then with Kontakt 7 or 8 there is a system to have them showing in the new browser: How to Add Non-Player Libraries to Kontakt 7 / 8's Browser
