Hi everyone.I apologize if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find any other information.

Does Traktor Pro 4 installed on Windows 11 work with a Traktor Kontrol S2 mk2? Is it a problem if the control only has two decks instead of 4?

I have always used Traktor kontrol S2 Mk2 with Traktor Pro 2 installed, on a Windows 10 PC. Now I have purchased a Windows 11 Pro and trying to install it there too I was unable to do so and I seemed to have understood that with the operating system of the new PC is not compatible.

I would like to update the software by purchasing and switching to the Pro 3, but it doesn't seem to exist on the site anymore.

If I can't do that, then I would upgrade to Traktor Pro 4, purchasing it on the site. but I don't know if it is compatible with my Kontrol S2 Mk2 and works well. Since pro 4 has 4 decks while the kontrol only has 2.Can anyone help me understand? thank you very much everyone

TP 2, 3 and 4 can all control 4 decks. With the S2 you are simply limited to fully using decks A and B (and C and D as remix decks, if you use the remix sample controls). There is no conflict.

Try installing Native Access 1 if it is possible - don't know personally, still on win10.

NA1 will give you access to PRO2 installer. Otherwise, upgrade to PRO4. Look it up online, there are S2 MK2 mappings that offer 4-deck control once you grow two decks.

Of course it is compatible, and since you are using Windows it doesn't really matter anyway, as older drivers also work on newer versions of Windows etc.

Traktor Pro 3 is EOL which is why you won't find it anymore, but Traktor Pro 4 is better anyway and still has update support, so that would always be the right version.

You can also download the Traktor Pro 4 demo first to see if everything works well for you.
