What Is the KK Keyboard MK2 S48 advantage over an

IS the KK Keyboard MK2 S48 an advantage over any other midi keyboard in Konkakt 8? I think it's wonderful the Konkakt got upgraded but still no rean integration of KK Keyboards unless you use Komplete Kontrol - which, like maschine, takes hours to load if done stand alone. Have to use DAW and then transport functions become tied to the daw. It's always been ****** that instead of fixing the probelm, NI just releases a new product.

Hi There,

It's not solving the Kontakt issue but if you hold the escape key while loading Maschine or Komplete Kontrol it skips the product scan. that really speeds up the startup process of said apps.

Thanks Danial, I've tried your suggestion and the closest I've ever come to resolving the scan before loading the app is opening task manager and killing the the scan while loading - and that only works on the app its currenently scanning. I've been wiht NI since pretty much day one - I have a pile of their equipment that becomes obsolete the day a new product comes out. I'v e maintained a Komplete Library - the upgrades are rarely worth the price because they don't build on their current products, just offer new material which and then lower the price six months after selling the Komplete package. I haver a Machine Studio and every other Maschine hardware they've intoduced since day one with the exception of the newest model. I've three differnt Komplete keyboards with the most resent a MK2 - Try and find an owners manual for any of these products or even a response from NI if it isn't directly related to sales. I'm not going off on you but at some point I should just cut my losses with NI. rjd
