Is it possible to do this on the Maschine Mikro mk3? (slicing sample in real time)

At 2:24 in this video you can see the guy slicing the sample in real time by hitting the pads, is this possible on the MIKRO? I've been trying to figure this out for the longest time. In the manual there's a "Live Slicing" section but it doesn't actually explain much

    upon further research it seems it's not possible, but apparently it was on the mk2? well that sucks big time. really disappointed

    I feel your pain bro. I’m so disappointed about that. Bought my Maschine but have to sell it because of this ******. It’s so annoying. Big L for Native Instruments. I expected more than that.
