I"d like to see pattern sync and some round-robin sampling

I think we all want a pattern sync option. Switching a pattern in group A causes every other group to drop out until the next midi note. If I leave enough gaps in my music, you can try to time it.. and I know the work around is to instead just duplicate patterns to a new scene.. but giving us a setting to let the current pattern reach its end before switching similar to scene sync would make for a much smoother and more dynamic workflow.

The following is likely a bigger appeal to users of the Maschine Plus. But there's just one other thing I want that would take the Maschine from awesome to perfect in my hands.

Round-robin sampling. The sampler is already the strongest tool in the Maschine+'s arsenal. Being able to create round-robin groups based on velocity range in the sample editor would be icing on the cake. Two settings to be specific.

"Random", where it cycles samples within a round-robin group randomly, but without playing the same sample twice in a row.

Then "Cycle" where it cycles through each sample in a specific order.

It could also be worked into the auto-sampler. RR set to 1 = no round robin, RR set to 2 = two samples per velocity layer of a given note. RR set to 3 and so on.

First hit is center pan.. then slightly L, then slightly R, and slightly more pan each subsequent hit within a round-robin group.

I've only been in the world of Maschine for a few months. I know I'm late to the party, but I just wanted to throw my voice in the hat somewhere.

So from my understanding, you can control that with the scene grid. That’s what dictates how fast the patterns change. Try changing it to 1/16 instead of a bar and see if that works for you.

    Hope that helps!

That works for changing scenes which is great. You set the grid to "scene" or "section" to cause it to play the scene to the end before switching. This setting doesn't affect patterns though. Changing patterns within a scene is always immediate.

Only works with Scenes, but does not work with Patterns. It is unbelivable that 2024 and still not implemented.

Patterns are at the heart of improvisations, that's when you really need synced transitions, to let the music flow. You set a Pattern change to happen, and then free your hands (and screens/knobs) for something else to happen at the same time - an effect, shot a sample, some notes, whatever… By the moment you work with Scenes it's when you already have a sort of arrangement in mind, prepared beforehand.

((A synced Scene change, though helpful, not indispensable: if you can organize Scenes beforehand, you can also organize your performance to change Scene at the right moment))
