I think we all want a pattern sync option. Switching a pattern in group A causes every other group to drop out until the next midi note. If I leave enough gaps in my music, you can try to time it.. and I know the work around is to instead just duplicate patterns to a new scene.. but giving us a setting to let the current pattern reach its end before switching similar to scene sync would make for a much smoother and more dynamic workflow.
The following is likely a bigger appeal to users of the Maschine Plus. But there's just one other thing I want that would take the Maschine from awesome to perfect in my hands.
Round-robin sampling. The sampler is already the strongest tool in the Maschine+'s arsenal. Being able to create round-robin groups based on velocity range in the sample editor would be icing on the cake. Two settings to be specific.
"Random", where it cycles samples within a round-robin group randomly, but without playing the same sample twice in a row.
Then "Cycle" where it cycles through each sample in a specific order.
It could also be worked into the auto-sampler. RR set to 1 = no round robin, RR set to 2 = two samples per velocity layer of a given note. RR set to 3 and so on.
First hit is center pan.. then slightly L, then slightly R, and slightly more pan each subsequent hit within a round-robin group.
I've only been in the world of Maschine for a few months. I know I'm late to the party, but I just wanted to throw my voice in the hat somewhere.
