@Kaiwan_NI
As a new Guitar Rig (7) user, I wanted to send my feedback, for future updates.
The intention is that other users can add their wishes too in this topic.
We -as users- should make a wishlist of things that are really needed in a new version or update.
Lately I have the feeling that companies always make new stuff, but I never have the idea they are listening to the end user about what they need or what's really required.
I think NI is different here.
Some other FX that could be great for GR are:
- Acoustic Sim (to change the sound from electric guitar to acoustic guitar)
- Bass Sim (make your electric guitar sound like a bass, instead of the use of the Oktaver/Pitch fx because they really distort it with unwanted signals)
- Feedback FX, to generate a sound as if you were standing close to your amp.
- Sustainer, to make the last thing you're playing sound like on hold, on a natural way.
For me personally (and I have the impression that there's a lot of other users that have raised the idea already): a native Linux version should be made of Guitar Rig.
There's lots of Linux users using GR via Wine (a linux workaround), which makes it a bit slower or sluggish. A native Linux installer aside Windows and Mac should really be awesome.
Most prominent companies that take their customers serious do that. (Such as U-HE)
In the Linux world, a lot of alternatives for Guitar Rig are booming lately, and it's time for NI to add their (strong) mark.
