Old Zip drive file not working

Greetings -

I have MK3 controller with Maschine running on my MacBook. I recently was able to download some old ZIP drives that contain Maschine projects, however when the files were downloaded then opened, they will not play. The play button doesn't even light up. However it seems like all of the information is still there (scenes). The pads are lit and the sound plays when you hit a pad, however the actual saved scenes(songs) will not play. What am I doing wrong.

I don’t know if this corresponds to your case, but the only times I had play button not responsive (not even selectable) was because of audio settings in Maschine options (if I recall correctly, something related to wasapi vs other audio drivers when using computer’s built-in audio interface).

Since it costs nothing, check there and try the various options to see if you get your playback to work.

(Maybe this will lead nowhere…but hey…it’s a couple minutes test, so it will not arm ☺️)

I appreciate your time and assistance, the solution was to find the audio midi set up and add/setup multiple-output device driver, then change the MK3 settings. Blessings continued success
