Firmware update for s2 mk3

hello

I have recently purchased pro 4 software. When connecting my s2 mk3, it tells me there is a firmware update. After downloading the update app. It physically does not open in order to do the update. Once clicking nothing happens. I have looked at app permissions and cannot see anything that is blocking it from opening (macbook pro) can anybody help with this please? Have a gig friday so needs fixing asap.

Yes i can but it does warn that the controller may not work properly. On top of the fact i’d prefer it to be uptodate.

Did you give all the permissions ? N.I. Mac must do is that all N.I. apps must have full disk access. Also disks must be of correct format.

Full disk access including the app i have downloaded. It shows in the taskbar at bottom of the screen for couple of seconds then disappears. Just fyi this is the one i’m talking about

I am very far from being a Mac expert , in fact then not having a Mac then I only know what I have learned from the forum and from reading support articles. So this is just me taking a random swing at it.

Some Mac users have diverse problems from changing some location of some user folders from default in which case I really don't know , also you can try running the file from another location on computer where you are sure to have full access in general to see if that makes any difference. Some Mac users sometimes have to change some other general security setting but I simply can not remember which this particular moment. I am not sure if it could possibly have to do with what is described on this Apple page : Safely open apps on your Mac
