When using playbox I like to use the randomize feature a lot. This give you unique variations and possibilities that are endless compared to the stock presets. Once I find a sound I like, I sometimes remove all the effects from the phrase so that I can better work with the base sample. Simple tip but a lot of playbox users are not aware that you can remove the effects to get a more versatile sample to play with.
