FABLES ? Deleted...

Hello,
When downloading the COMPLETE 14 COLLECTOR, FABLES was present and functional.
During an update from NATIVE ACCESS, FABLES disappeared: DELETED!
IMPOSSIBLE to contact NI support on this subject (the least serious after-sales service on the market).
Can someone tell me if MAC BOOK PRO M3 works with NI? (Software and MKIII keyboard hardware).

Komplete 14 came out in 2022. Fables was not released until 2023. It was not included with Komplete 14.

I have Komplete 14 UCE and there's no Fables on my system.

    Hello,

can you see it in native access, just use the searchbar. And how do you try to open it, within kontakt directly or with komplete kontrol opening a preset?

    Thank you!

KONTAKT 7, KONTROL KOMPLETE, and NATIVE ACCES can't find it (no search either).

On my external SSD, FABLES is also not in the folders.

I just realized that FABLES is offered by NATIVE INSTRUMENTS in the future COMPLETE 15 or to buy for 199 €! So, where did FABLES from COMPLETE 14 COLLECTOR go?

As far as I found out, fables is not part of Komplete 14 ce but lores is.

    Sorry,

YES the KOMPLETE 14 COLLECTOR version had FABLES and all the modules were included without exception (NI advertising); the proof is that FABLES was installed when I downloaded it and was functional until an update of NATIVE ACCES a few weeks later which erased the FALES instrument from my SSD. This is an unusual way of proceeding on the part of NI who "inflates" version 15 with a new feature that will have to be acquired with 199 € (but without me: no more NI on my SSD). Thank you.

I acquired KOMPLETE 14 COLLECTOR in July 2024 (promotional price), and FABLES was present and functional because I used it several times. If NI mistakenly inserted FABLES into the download, you should have apologized and not deleted it from the SSD WITHOUT my permission (this is an unacceptable intrusion). My trust in these people is very limited. Thank you for your listening and intervention.

    Good music.

    Kind regards.

This spreadsheet is not maintained by Native Instruments, but it is current and accurate. Fables was never a part of any version of K14.

I bought Fables and something else on a promotional deal earlier this summer. And I had researched it to be sure that I didn't already have it, since I have K14CE. And I did not have Fables. So I bought it during that promotion.

If you had Fables, I wouldn't know why.

Possibly the bundle was purchased at just the right moment within a brief window when it was included accidentally (which explains why it got removed).

If that had happened, then it might explain how Fables snuck its way into the download list within Native Access. But I doubt it would have ever been actually AUTHORIZED for use. The user would have gotten stopped at runtime by that authorization check upon first attempt to launch or load it (or a host calling for it).

But yeah, the upshot for the OP is that Fables is not part of any flavor of K14. You either need to buy it separately, or just upgrade to K15CE and wait for the release date.

Once upon a time, an instrument was made available to download on the Maschine+ which shouldn't have been. Those who were lucky enough to spot it and download it at the time, have it installed on their Plus and it's still usable today.

Oh, interesting. Well, would be "still usable today" unless and until they have to re-install NA, right?

For Maschine Plus, no - installs are done via wifi and it doesn't involve Native Access.

In Arry's case I don't know, but it does seem (based on what's been posted) that Fables was removed because it shouldn't have been there.

That's right, Maschine Plus would have a different install paradigm. I hadn't thought about that.

To your other point, I agree; Fables probably shouldn't have been there.
