latency..

using komplete audio 6 on win 7 using direct monitor I get an echo thing happening..it doesn't go on the recording..I need to just hear the monitor only..how do I turn of the repeating output echo thing?

    Dear OP: Be sure that you are using ASIO that came with the KA. If you are using Windows sound or something else, you'll get latency.

    You're welcome. You'll find your ASIO settings in the audio interface applet for your sound interface. And for that, you'd typically find it in the system tray off on the right side of the Windows task bar. It could be you'll have to launch it, or it could be that you can just right click on it and see a "settings" option or maybe an "ASIO settings" option. Good luck.

    Hi,

    Can you provide a few more specifics?

    - are you working inside a DAW
    - what device(s) do you have plugged into the KA6
    - is your KA6 an MK2

    it still does it even before I start the DAW..Cool Edit Pro 2 or Audition 2020

    Strat plugged in…or Strat via a Zoom G5n..result is the same

    had it for over ten years Komplete Audio 6 (not MK2)
