Can't double click in Kontakt 7! HELP

Hi there,

since a while I (from time to time) can't double click instruments in Kontakt anymore. Meaning I cannot navigate in samplelibrary folders back and forth or choose the instrument I want to use. I have to use right click and navigate through the finder folders and drag and drop it into Kontakt. That's hindering my workflow big times.

Does anyone have an idea what could cause this? Or is this a common bug?

I am on the latest Kontakt 7 on the latest MacOs and everything up to date.

I have no idea what you're doing based on your description. Are you referring to the Browser view in Kontakt 7 where you select the library and then filter/search/select the specific preset? You do realize you're not stuck with that, right? Just clicking on the Library heading switches you to the individual instrument setting and if you have Side Pane checked under the View menu you'll see all your libraries listed to the left and you can select the presets by dropping down Instruments and selecting the preset you want the old school way. You won't get the benefit of auditioning the presets like you do in the browser but it might be easier if you know what you're after.

I am sorry if my description was not precise.

I am talking about the "normal" Kontakt 7 view - libraries on the left and loaded instruments on the right.

To choose an instrument from the left side, you can either double click it and it will load or drag and drop it to the left.

My issue is that I am not able to double click an instrument on the right panel to select it, or (worse) to go back in librarie folders to choose from another categorie of the same library.

I can double click on the top (Libraries, Files, Monitor etc.) but not below in the libraries themself.

PS: It seems to occur only in LOGIC PRO. In the standalone app its fine!

I found out, that if this happens and I open the standalone next to Logic, then it works all of a sudden in Logic again. Somehow the UI in Logic gets corrupted from time to time.
