S88 mk3: Select a track in the DAW without scrolling past every track?

I just upgraded to the S88 mk3….

on the mk2 you could just select the DAW track that you wanted to kontrol with the top buttons… now mute & solo buttons have disappeared those top buttons seem like they are just for mute and solo…

How to select a track? Please don't tell me we have to scroll with pushing the scroll wheel left and right through the whole session?!?!?! This is crazy… what happens if I'm on a track at the bottom for the project and want to select a track 50 tracks up? I have to scroll past every track? please don't tell me this is so and I'm missing something simple?

really suprised that no one else has an issue with this, its a huge deal breaker for me… and I would have throught also for anyone who has a career working daily on projects that have 20+ tracks, especially film composers

How can NI make the mk3 which should be better than the mk2 and remove a simple function of DAW integration?

What are the 3 things that people need to do with DAW integration?

SELECT a track, SOLO a track and MUTE a track. The only way of SELECTING a track is moving through all the DAW tracks a single track at a time by pushing the scroll wheel left or right, literally taking 30 seconds to get from the top of a project to the bottom. Crazy when in the mk2 could SELECT a track instantly by using the banking buttons and having the button at the top to select the track.

Please NI implement something to be able to select a track that is displayed… like by holding a button and touching one of the 8 encoders. There was a dedicated button before, now not only has the button gone which is bad enough but also the functionality of being able to select a track.
